Crooked teeth, crowding, or bite issues can make braces or other types of orthodontic treatment necessary. The obvious advantage to having braces is they make your teeth straight, but they can also help your bite be more functional and comfortable, and your mouth more healthy.
How Braces Work
Braces use a gentle pressure over time to move teeth into their proper positions. In order to do this, Dr. King will bend the arch wire to create the ideal bite and tooth position. The teeth move when the arch wire puts pressure on the brackets and teeth.
Dr. King offers conventional orthodontic treatment for children, teens, and adults of all ages with either metal, clear ceramic braces, or Invisalign®. We also offer early orthodontic treatment for children around age eight or nine, and craniofacial patients in need of orthodontics. To make your treatment even more convenient, we utilize the advanced iTero® Digital Impression System and digital X-rays in order to diagnose and evaluate your specific needs more accurately.
